About teacher
Hello, I’m Yusei. I’m native Japanese and Japanese teacher.
Thank you for your interest in learning Japanese.
I have over 3 years experience teaching Japanese to more than 100 students.
I speak Japanese, English, and Thai, and I’m learning Urdu myself now, so I can understand the difficulties of learning languages.
I teach mainly daily conversation. However, I can also teach business Japanese and interviewing.
I tailor our curriculum to the needs of my students, including how Japanese culture and the Japanese language are connected or the origins of the language.
In today’s world of advanced translation systems and AI, there is often debate about the necessity of language learning. However, I feel anew the necessity of learning languages.
I often travel abroad. And when I speak the local language, it brings me closer to them and builds trust. Language is also connected to the culture of the country and is very important in learning about it.
I hope that learning Japanese will improve the lives of my students.

Yusei’s an amazing teacher. Always teaching me new words and giving detailed, easily understandable explanations. He really puts in the effort to find good and interesting ways to encourage my growth, from speech activities to grammar exercises. And he’s extremely easy to converse with. For my first lesson, this was great. We started off with easy Japanese and gradually increased the level of difficulty of the conversation to fit my speaking ability. I didn’t have to come up with conversation topics, we just had a chill conversation while practicing polite speech. Every time I made a mistake, he would annotate it in the comments for me to look back on. If I seemed confused he would explain to make sure I understood instead of continuing the conversation. 10/10 would recommend.
